Polar Demo

 First we had an image of New York and sized it down.

After We sized The main image down we then Duplicated the layer

The duplicated layer:

We dragged it along so it was Opposite the Main Image.

then we Rotated the duplicated the second image

Then we merged the 2 layers

then we cropped the image down

Then we flatted the image

Then we changed the image size to make a perfect square

The Image size

The Perfect square version of the original image and flipped it

Then we used the Polar coordinates setting and created a Circular image

Then we adjusted the levels

Made things darker

which created one of the final images

Otherwise we could have done:

We did another Version with exactly the same methods, except we didn't flip it
